Black Belt Test 2015

20th BBC Test

On Saturday, April 25, 2015, we held our Black Belt test at our Wheeling school location for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Dan. The Black Belt exam is not an easy thing. Be proud of your achievement! You've trained hard and long for that test. Remember the 1 tenet of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit. Every part of the exam examined you on these elements. Everything that you had to do exemplifies these tenets. Each and every one of you demonstrated that. We were so proud to see the energy, determination, and dedication that you showed throughout the entire day. We are more than honored that you have chosen us to be a part of this journey.

A special thanks to all of the parents, family, friends, and volunteers for all your commitment!  Despite the hot room and long hours, you stayed and cheered for the kids. We thank you for your support and dedication as your kids continue their Taekwondo journey.

White Tiger Martial Arts Center, in honor of our students, has been issued a proclamation by the Village of Wheeling on April 22nd! This honor was presented as a result of a group of our students medaling at the Illinois State Tae Kwon Do Championship held in Ottowa, IL a few weeks ago and winning a spot in the Junior Olympics in July. The Village heard

about the accomplishment of our students and wanted to recognize White Tiger and the kids for this significant accomplishment. Proclamations are issued by the Wheeling Village President to provide an opportunity for the Village President and Village Trustees to recognize exceptional events, groups, or people.

The goal of a proclamation is to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary achievements of city residents and non‐profit organizations, to honor occasions of importance and significance to the residents of Wheeling and to increase public being of citizens of Wheeling. White Tiger would like to thank

all of the students, parents, and families that continue to dedicate their lives to martial arts training. White Tiger could not have achieved this honor without having your as a part of our family!
